Description: flowerbee™ buckwheat honey is most often dark tea or brown in color. It has a distinctive smell and a pungent taste. Buckwheat honey has many healing and health properties. It is known as a substance that cleans and strengthens blood vessels because it contains rutin. It is thanks to the content of this ingredient that buckwheat honey is recommended for the elderly who have problems with the circulatory system, for example due to atherosclerosis. Since the simple sugars in honey are absorbed directly into the bloodstream, they can nourish the heart muscle almost instantly, and bypass the liver, so they take the strain off the heart.
In addition, it should be mentioned that buckwheat honey is known for its antibiotic properties and perfectly protects the body against various diseases. Interestingly, this honey not only bypasses the liver, but also detoxifies and cleanses it. This translates into better work of this organ, which is itself responsible for detoxification and filtration of our body. Consuming buckwheat honey supports the liver, thanks to which it protects us against liver and immune system diseases. Our liver and kidneys are protected against damage also thanks to the high content of choline in buckwheat honey.
According to research on dark honey, drinking buckwheat honey in a mixture with black tea helps to significantly increase the level of antioxidants in the body. Antioxidants help protect the body from damage caused by free radicals.
Routine itself also prevents the breakdown of vitamin C, and at the same time improves its bioavailability. It also supports faster healing of both internal and external wounds.
Minerals and vitamins:
Minerals: phosphorus, potassium, manganese, sodium, copper, silicon, zinc, iron, magnesium
Vitamins: C, B1, B2, and also niacin
Buckwheat honey also contains the following enzymes: amylase, phosphatase, invertase.
Health effect: It contains highly absorbable iron and magnesium, which improve the functioning of the nervous system and the work of the heart. Due to the high content of iron, which is absorbed completely, it is recommended for iron deficiency anemia, both in children and adults.
Additional positive properties of buckwheat honey are its ability to reduce the harmfulness of stimulants such as tea, coffee, alcohol and nicotine. In addition, buckwheat honey removes lead and radioactive elements from the blood serum and has anti-cancer properties.
Buckwheat honey consumed regularly increases the level of hemoglobin, and thus accelerates the renewal of the body and makes it stronger, even after invasive surgical procedures or healing treatments. Interestingly, it also has a beneficial effect on improving pattern, hearing and memory.
Storage: it is best to store the barrel in its own packaging – a tube, it provides adequate darkening and protects against rapid temperature changes (thermos effect). Optimum home storage temperature up to + 18℃ (64F) (the lower the better). The optimal temperature is around 9-12℃ (48-54F). See also collecting and long-term storage.
Ecology: our honeys are obtained in ecologically clean areas, away from industry and human centers. This is our priority!
The packaging materials we use are 100% recyclable and made of secondary raw materials. We mainly use: glass, steel, paper, wood. We do not use plastic.
Quality: each apiary is audited by us in terms of processing quality and ecology.
Each batch of honey is tested by an independent laboratory of the Institute of Horticulture, Apiculture Department in Pulawy, Poland. Each batch of honey is examined by a local veterinarian.
